OceanStream helps researchers turn raw sonar and other oceanographic data into clean, analysis-ready datasets. Data can be streamed from the vessel (via IoT Edge) or ingested via cloud-native workflows. Then you can explore it in the browser with maps, echograms, and dashboards or write custom JupyterLab notebooks in the provided scientific workspace.
The platform standardises common echosounder formats (like EK60/EK80) and multibeam backscatter, and makes everything accessible through clear APIs so teams can reproduce results and share them easily.
Our goal is to remove the gap between raw data collection and insight. OceanStream links water-column acoustics with supporting sensor data (such as CTD) to provide context and better corrections, and it offers reliable automation for converting, organising, and quality-checking surveys at scale.
We also provide pretrained ML models to fast-track tasks like target detection and consulting to help organisations move their archives to modern cloud formats while keeping familiar scientific workflows.
